According to Netflix, the hit drama garnered 77.43 million watch hours and took over the Netflix Top 10 chart Āfor the third week of August (from August 15th to 21st). The series has also become the first non-English show to be an outright No. 1 for the week, eclipsing The Sandman, which fell to second but still topped the weekly English-language chart. The Korean drama has remained at the top of NetflixŌĆÖs Weekly Top 10 for non-English series for four weeks straight, holding the No. 1 spot for six of its eight weeks. Although the show failed to make it to the Top 10 in the first week, the drama rose to the top spot in the second week of July (from 4th to 10th) with favorable reviews. Since then, the drama continued its reign on No.1, only briefly slipping to No. 2 in the fourth week of July as the Spanish show Alba edged it. The latest Netflix hit from Korea has seen its viewership grow every week, from 24 million hours viewed in the first week to a new high of 77.43 million hours viewed in its seventh week. Unlike Squid Game which released its entire episodes at once, the drama released two episodes per week which seemed to have helped it to achieve such a performance. Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a story about a genius yet autistic woman named Woo Young Woo (played by Park Eun Bin) who joins a law firm out of law school. The series concluded Āon August 18th.
